For grown-ups đź‘‹
Sprunki Jr is a place where kids share Sprunki mods they make in Scratch— and where kid-quality work is the point, not a problem. It’s run by a parent, for kids.
What we collect (very little, on purpose)
- A mod shows only a first name and age — that’s all we ask for, and all we show.
- No accounts, no passwords, no sign-ups. Publishing a mod produces a secret edit code instead.
- Optionally, a grown-up’s email — used only to send the edit code and review results, never displayed, never shared, never used for marketing.
- No ads, no third-party analytics, no trackers, no social embeds. Everything on this site is served by this site.
- Rate-limiting uses a one-day salted hash of IP addresses; we can’t reconstruct who visited.
- Your browser’s local storage remembers mods made on your device (“My mods”) and which mods you liked. That data never leaves your device.
Every mod is reviewed by a human before it appears
- New mods and updates go into a review queue. Nothing is public until a human approves it.
- We check for profanity, sexual content, and personal information — including names or places spoken in recorded sounds, and text hidden inside the project.
- Cartoon creepiness and silly gore are part of Sprunki culture and are allowed — mods can be marked creepy 👻 so younger kids can filter them out.
- The approved version is frozen: a mod can’t change after review without going through review again.
- Families can remove their mod instantly at any time with their edit code.
Mods are safe to play by construction
Mods are Scratch projects — data, not programs with computer access. Our player runs standard Scratch blocks only: no network access, no camera, no custom extensions, wrapped in a sandboxed frame with a strict content-security policy.
Remixing and credit
Projects shared on Scratch are licensed CC BY-SA, which makes kid remixes licensed derivative works. Mod pages show what a mod was based on, and every mod can be downloaded and remixed in turn — crediting the original is part of modding culture we want kids to learn.
Open source we build on
The player is built on the TurboWarp Packager’s scaffolding (MPL-2.0) and the Scratch Foundation’s open-source runtime. License details ship with the player bundle here.
The fine print
